My Random Thought
Let’s reflect on the subject - gratitude, not just for the milestones we’ve reached, but for where we are now. It’s easy to get caught up in the chase for more, to want to press beyond the present, and to always look forward to the future.
But the fact that we are where we are today, with the experiences we’ve had and the lessons we’ve learned, is something to be deeply thankful for. Every experience has worked together for your good, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
Dreams would are always be in the future tense - driving us forward. And this dreams are of the level of our exposure. The more we’ve seen, the more we’ve learned, the bigger our vision grows.
We have to understand and realize that others, some who are stronger, wiser, or more connected, might not see what we see. They lack the intense fire that drives us forward. Why? Because where we are today - the mistakes, the pains, the failures, and even the successes - have shaped us. They’ve given us the lens through which we view our dreams.
That insatiable desire for growth, for pressing forward, is not something to resent or ignore. It’s a blessing. And yet, as we dream, we must remember this truth: while dreams may always seem just out of reach, they’re a part of our path. We will never be satisfied with were we are, our path is like a shining light, shining brighter and brighter with every step we take.
💡 So, understand that there is purpose in where you are, and it’s preparing you for where you’re going. Don’t lose sight of that. Gratitude turns our hearts towards God’s will, aligning us with His plan. And that’s where the true blessing lies—not just in the future potential, but in the present reality. ON MY DESK
