The Gospel According To...
A simple account of those things my eyes have seen and my hands have handled.
The Gospel = Good News
As we all know “Gospel” is literary interpreted “Good News”, and there are primary four books of the Gospel included in the Bible, all an account of the life, message, and purpose of Jesus.
It should not be surprising there are various other gospel written, not as an eyewitness account of His life, but an account of His purpose of living, or the benefits He brings, or others as in context to Jesus as the Christ.
DISCLAIMER: For me, what I aim to do is to follow in the footstep to write out Good News of Jesus as I have now understood and witness. This does not cover the entirety of His message, nor a comprehensive account of Jesus in my life and around me these 22 years of existence.God & Man
The relationship between God and man is essential in establishing the purpose of Jesus and His earthly ministry. God as He is, the supreme being, living beyond time existence, seek not just for an expansion of His kingdom, but for an establishment of His beauty and glory all round the universe, Heaven & Earth, which set out the creation and establishment of His government, MAN, His creation in His image and likeness.
This is the essence of men, first subjects of creation to continue creation as intimate partners in furthering the will of God.
Yet in all this man was not still satisfied, maybe just as His master is creator, sought for more exercise of his dominion or authority, fell into the trap of the devil. (Eat of this fruit, and you will surely not die, but be as gods, knowing all things.)
The trap still yearn daily in the nature of man, to pass away death and become immortal with the abilities of God through power or fame or wealth.
Which repercussion to the displacement of man from his rightful place in creation, departure from God’s presence, and now bondage to sin, the lust of the eye, the lust of flesh, and the pride of life, in sorrow, anguish, and depression.
Iniquity has abound and who shall save us from such a perilous life, far from destiny, living in miniature.
This as not only been the cry of man, his prophets and kings. But also of the Heavenly Father, who shall I send to repair the broken bridge, who shall go to restore order, establish my kingdom, and bring back my throne to the heart of men?
Jesus
The central figure of the story. Not as a mere man, as a many would say, else we of course very miserable, saved by a man conceived in sin? saved by one held in the same bondage as us? Can a blind lead the blind? No , Jesus was the very Son of God, the one who was in the start of creation, the very word which established creation, the prince of peace, God in us and with us.
He alone could do this, that’s what makes this particular gospel so unique, not built or give by laws, by man, by angels, or “sent messengers”. But from the very throne room of God, a piece in him yet the complete of Him, Jesus.
Came as man, came on earth, but a saviour in holiness, yet passing the same desires and temptation as we, came for a purpose death, yet live forever, not on the cross or on earth, but in the life of those who chose to receive Him.
His significance was not just the finished works, but also his work here on earth. As the way, the truth, and the life.
The way to live an extraordinary life full of power and purpose here on earth,
The truth to significance of the promise of God to Adam, the serpent, and our fathers.
And the life in the sense, that we remain dead in bondage against our calling, except we receive Him.
This as said earlier, was not just significant in the cross, but in His life, messages, healing, and miracles. To what extent should we believe all this? With the infallible proofs, scattered across histories, regions, life, and even spirits. He lived & still lives.
The Call & The Gospel
So, what is good news about this?
One. That we can be restored far above everything God originally placed us over, to be at the center of dominion and authority above, angels & demons, principalities & powers, riches & poverty, healing & illness, animals & all things.
Two. That we are called with a purpose a life of significance, a specific mandate, assignment which each of us must complete. Not an biological accident of chance, but in a direction for a divine mandate, which he has set within you.
Three. That we know our existence here on earth is not a time-bound work with no infinite meaning, but of meaning and a continuation of the mandate before time, relevant today and till eternity.
The multitude of the gospel extends beyond these three, but this are significant to my account (Leadership, Purpose, and Legacy).
🚀 God did not establish you as a passing of time nor a heaven & hell test. But with confidence and full assurance of the one He sent (YOU) which He created to lead in purpose, and continue His legacy.The Start
No man can come to the father except through Him (Jesus), without the father our creator, we live in darkness, void of purpose and meaning of creation. So, come to Jesus, not with works, but with believing and confessing of His place and works in your life. Say this:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge you as my personal saviour, as the way, the truth, and the life. I repent of all my wrong doings and choose to follow you, all the rest of my lives.
