Day 27: The Renewal of Strength
A man of knowledge increaseth strength. Those who command exploits are those who know their God.
Verse:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
50 Days of Release: The Renewal of Strength
Knowing the keys to strength, we can tap into the endless well of strength available to us. Yet this does not dispute the truth that strength must be renewed.
Just as the sun is infinite in nature, yet its product is a renewable energy. So also, we must learn that strength must be renewed regularly, but can never be diminished. How do we renew our strength? Through Retreat.
Retreat is an essential period of rest, where we sit back to analyse our efficiency and strategize our actions so we can recuperate for total victory. However, retreat is not only highly beneficial to the physical body but also to the Spiritual being.
How do you retreat? By waiting, calmness, meditation, and study for inspiration and clarity. How often do you retreat? Retreat should not only be done at the end of the year, but also when you feel depleted of strength. To avoid indiscipline or a total breakdown, it is to be set periodically.
🚀 Retreat doesn't have to take days or months, but could be done in the space of your regular activities or the cool of the eve. The important of retreat is the process and the result, not the days.
