Day 16: The Wisdom of God
We sometimes misquote the scripture, saying: God's wisdom is foolishness unto man. Rather, the wisdom of God might be incomprehensible, but it's always above man's thoughts.
Verse:
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:9
50DOR: The Wisdom of God
We are at the third theme: wisdom. Today is day 16 of 50DOR, which is 34 days to 2025.
Wisdom, What is wisdom? Wisdom is the application of knowledge - they say. The simplicity of this definition reveals a lot, yet an essential is limited. A comprehensive definition says that: Wisdom is the ability to apply RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE in an INSIGHTFUL WAY. That is to say, wisdom is primarily revelatory, far from common sense.
Wisdom generally has three sources. First, is worldly wisdom, which is gained from experience and interaction with the environment. Next, devilish wisdom is gained by manipulation of the spirit's 'unknown' realm to execute satanic operations. Then, there is Godly wisdom, obtained through an intimate relationship and search for the mind and purposes of God.
The wisdom of God or Godly wisdom, is not below human reasoning but far beyond it, nowhere does the scripture say the wisdom of God is foolishness unto man, rather 1 Corinthians 1.25. While sometimes may seem illogical, it is incomprehensible by man and would always amaze us with the insightful way of dealing with issues, 1 Cor. 1.20-28.
🚀God's wisdom is very applicable to man and his environment. It can be made known, taught, or shown and will always amaze us. His wisdom formed the world and its hosts, and each day, scientists discover and study the world and its environment, and preachers teach the words of wisdom.
